The mission of our hospital is to provide the very best veterinary dental and medical care possible. The pets are cared for by employing evidence-based medicine using the latest technology. The DVDMC now has its second generation digital x-ray machine for even better diagnostic images. Every resource is used to fulfill our mission.
Dr. Ben H. Colmery III, Diplomate

Dr. Ben Colmery is a Board Certified Veterinary Oral Surgeon and Dentist. His background includes twenty-two years in general practice and seventeen years as adjunct faculty at Michigan State University. In addition, he has five years of experience in emergency medicine and ttwelve years of experience as a referral specialist, three of which were in the Animal Medical Center in Manhattan, New York. Dr. Colmery has co-authored two textbooks in veterinary dentistry and lectured throughout the United States, Europe, and Australia. His complete curriculum vitae is listed on www.vetdentistry.com.
Dr. Linda Sell
General Medicine and Surgery
Dr. Linda Sell graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982 and has been practicing in Southeastern Michigan ever since. Dr. Sell has a special interest in behavior modification and training. She has been involved with the Ann Arbor Dog Training Club for the past fifteen years instructing basic household manners and puppy training. In addition, she is involved with Flyball, Obedience, and Agility training and competing with her four dogs.

No pet will be left unsupervised in the hospital – period.

The goal of The DVDMC is to become a facility with twenty-four hour patient care. Our plan is to invite veterinarians who wish to maintain supervision of their hospitalized patients to use our facility. Emergency care will be provided by arrangement with the patient's primary care veterinarian.
The Dixboro Veterinary Dental and Medical Center has successfully achieved accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association. This practice was evaluated on over 900 standards established to ensure that their patients and clients receive the highest level of care.
